Construction Skills Training
ConstructionsSkills is working to fulfil the skills and productivity needs of the UK through the construction industry's Sector Skills Agreement. The construction industry's SSA, negotiated by ConstructionSkills, is a series of agreements between training providers, employers and Government, designed to address the construction industry's current and future skills needs. Find out more about the challenges we are facing in the construction industry.
At Apollo Sealants all our staff are trained in conjunction with Construction Skills Training and then qualified via the CSCS scheme. This ensures that we and all our employees will remain at high levels of quality skill and knowledge you would come to expect from the Northwest's best Sealant and Mastic applicators.

Construction Skills Certification Scheme
CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. It is a proof of competence accepted by organisations from across the industry as well as employers, clients and Government.
All sites registered under the Considerate Constructors Scheme are required to declare the percentage of workers who hold CSCS cards.
The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) through its document Common Minimum Standards for the Procurement of Built Environments in the Public Sector, states that governmental clients “are to include a contract clause requiring that all members of the supply teams who are workers or a regular visitor to a construction site are registered on the CSCS scheme”.
In short CSCS ensures higher standards of workmanship and safety. If you want the best CSCS qualified is the only way to go. For more information see the CSCS website via the link below:

IPAF
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide. Set up in 1983, IPAF is a not-for-profit members’ organisation that represents the interests of manufacturers, distributors, users, and rental and training companies.
The IPAF training programme for platform operators is certified by TÜV as conforming to ISO 18878. More than 80,000 operators are trained each year through a worldwide network of over 330 training centres. Successful trainees are awarded the PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), the most widely held and recognised proof of training for platform operators. IPAF members enjoy access to advisory, information, insurance and translation services, and have the chance to influence legislation and regulations that govern platform use.
Our employees are IPAF trained and have a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence). This means that wherever you sealant or mastic application needs we can solve it quickly and safley.
